“Chuck Brodsky can sing, fingerpick, & strum with the best of ’em…a storyteller, & a riveting one at that… an underlying tone of warmth & compassion runs through all his carefully observed narratives.”-Acoustic Guitar Magazine
A storyteller, songwriter, troubadour & modern day bard, his wit, warmth, & quirky, finely crafted songs tell stories of oddball & underdog characters. His songs celebrate people: the eccentric, holy, profound, courageous, inspiring, & beautiful.
For 28 years, he has performed across the US, Canada, Ireland, Denmark, England, Israel, Lithuania, Latvia, Wales & Scotland. He’s performed 3 times at the Ntl Baseball Hall of Fame & 22 of his Baseball story songs are enshrined in the Hall of Fame’s sound recording library.
Chuck & his songs have appeared in several films & TV. The Philadelphia Phillies featured an interview with him and his song “Whitey & Harry” in the documentary “Richie Ashburn: A Baseball Life.” Sony Pictures 2003 release “Radio” included a cameo by Chuck and his closing title track. “Moe Berg: The Song” appears in the PBS film “Jews & Baseball: An American Love Story” (2010).
His music has been featured on ABC’s Good Morning America, NPR’s All Things Considered, Dr. Demento, ESPN, PBS, & by NFL Films.
Kathy Mattea’s recording of his song “We Are Each Other’s Angels” is in the film “Dear Mr. Goodlife” (1998). The African Children’s Choir Of Uganda recorded the song on their “Love Is A Journey” CD. “Blow ’em Away” has been recorded by David Wilcox & many others & appears on the Christine Lavin produced “Laugh Tracks.”
Sports Illustrated named “The Ballad Of Eddie Klepp” among the 25 Greatest Songs About Sports of All-Time. In April 2019 Chuck was inducted into the Philadelphia Jewish Sports Hall Of Fame for his Baseball songwriting.
Receiving worldwide acclaim for his previous albums, Chuck’s 11th release “Tell Tale Heart” was self-produced & among the top ten most played CDs on folk radio for 2015. In March 2018, Chuck released his latest self-produced album, “Them & Us,” which received tremendous radio airplay being the 5th most played song on folk radio in 2018.
    Michael Reno Harrell: michaelreno.com
Michael is an award winning songwriter & a veteran storyteller & entertainer & he’s from the South… the Southern Appalachian Mountains.
Michael’s performances are compared to his granddaddy’s pocket knife: well worn & familiar feeling, but razor sharp & with a point. His brand of entertainment appeals to a very diverse audience.
Michael’s recordings top the Americana Music Assn charts each year. His original work has been described as “Appalachian grit & wit” but, Michael’s awareness is much broader than the bounds of his boyhood or the South. Having toured thruout the US, British Isles & Europe, his songs & stories reflect an insight in experiences that catch the ear like an old friend’s voice.
Michael’s natural knack for storytelling has earned him praise from the music community and the literary & storytelling worlds; honored as a Featured Teller at the National Storytelling Festival & to be Teller In Residence at the International Storytelling Center, and performing at MerleFest & the Walnut Valley Festival. He conducts workshops in songwriting & storytelling.
Michael’s recordings garner awards in Country, Americana & Folk circles. His humor & emotional depth keep his fan base growing & waiting for what comes next.
