    Before talkies, there was the genesis of film – the Silents! Buster Keaton scores again with his 1928 comedy “The Cameraman”. Comic enjoyment ensues after Buster becomes infatuated with a pretty office worker for MGM Newsreels. He trades in his tintype operation for a movie camera determined to impress the girl (and MGM). This film was added to the National Film Registry in 2005, being deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant." We’ve partnered with Six String Presents to bring this classic film to life with a new score written by the Triangle’s own Jon Shain and performed live by Jon Shain and FJ Ventre.  The duo will perform a set of their own music after the film.
