Alex Velluto is a comedian on the rise. With two Dry Bar Comedy specials and millions of online views, he has performed in the top comedy clubs across the country in over 60 cities as a member of the Dry Bar Comedy Tour.
He was a finalist in the prestigious Boston Comedy Festival, was named “Best of Fest” at the Golden Spike Comedy Festival and is the winner of the Finger Lakes Comedy Festival in Ithaca, NY. He has performed at other top festivals across the country including the Big Sky Comedy Festival, and the Seattle International Comedy Competition.
Even though he is vaguely out of shape, he is going to be the host of a new comedy walking series for NordicTrack for some reason. He will also appear alongside the cast of JK Studios (Formerly Studio C) in their series “Loving Lyfe”.
Need more accolades to be convinced? In 2016, Alex was voted “Best Comedian” by City Weekly Magazine. (They haven’t named a Best Comedian since. He was just that good) His debut comedy special “Alex Velluto: Spurious” is currently streaming on Amazon.com.
Most importantly, Alex’s skills as a stand up are razor sharp and has been known to provoke laughter induced pain on audiences everywhere.
Wills Maxwell, Jr. started doing stand-up comedy when he was in 4th grade. His teacher didn’t appreciate him interrupting class and his parents didn’t appreciate him getting in trouble. Due to the lack of appreciation, Wills retired from the business and re-started doing stand-up comedy again after he left high school. He was named the Port City’s Top Comic in 2019 and was a regional finalist in StandUp NBC 2018. He can be seen every Thursday morning on WWAY News with his comedy news segment “What Did We Miss?”
Wills has performed at the Cola Comedy Convention, the North Carolina Comedy Festival, the Oak City Comedy Festival, and the Cape Fear Comedy Festival. Wills hosted Wilmington’s late-night talk show “Late Fear with Wills Maxwell” for three years. He’s also opened for several comedians including Tim Meadows and Jim Gaffigan.
Will Call tickets may be picked up at the box office beginning one hour prior to the concert.
