    Fun, thrilling, and thought-provoking; Motion For Pictures continues its landmark run as the area's premiere showcase of independent cinema.     We're wrapping up our second full year with a heaping helping of local goodness and a slew of international gems! This show is packed to the gills with laughs, scares, and shocking twists spread across eight masterful short films! The show starts @ 7pm (preshow @ 6:30pm) at The Cary Theater, followed by a Q&A after the show. Don't miss it- it's going to be epic!

    An artist carves a giant SOS into the landscape of a palm oil plantation to call attention to the ongoing destruction of Indonesia’s rainforests.
    GILL (dir. Kieran Moreira)
    A headstrong scientist bickers with her only lifeline while test piloting a malfunctioning teleportation suit.

    THE FINAL SHOW (dir. Dana Nachman)
    A woman who has lived a long life full of love and loss has to decide, based on all that she has learned, who to take along to eternity.
    ME (WITH YOU) (dir. Jim McQuaid & Caitlin Wells)
    An improvisational journey through acquaintance, intimacy, love, commitment and loss.
    TRESPASS (dir. Jonathan Foulston)
    A young woman returns home alone at night and discovers a mysterious figure in her bedroom.
    PASSING (dir. Michael Babbitt)
    A family realizes they are being watched by the government after their youngest daughter demonstrates magic abilities in public one afternoon.

    WRAPPED (dir. Roman Kaelin, Falko Paeper, & Florian Wittmann)
