- Jillian Goldberg was born and raised in South Africa. She received a BA in Art Education from the University of Cape Town. After immigrating with her family to North Carolina she founded a summer camp and after school program for gifted children in 1985, serving thousands of young people from all over the Southeastern US. She also continued to teach art for forty years, opening seven children’s art schools under license in Charlotte and the Triangle.
